Accounting Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

    

  • Manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws
  • In charge of filing of BIR Returns
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Plan, assign and review staff’s work


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Mathematics, or related courses, CPA is a plus
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in accounting field
  • Has experience in supervising employees
  • Strong background in accounting
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel 


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Proficient on manual and system computation.
  • Can handle multiple company/clients
  • Has keen eye for detail to find and correct discrepancies.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Possesses integrity and professionalism
