The Deputy HR Executive serves as the deputy to the HR Department Head, and will do tasks
spanning all HR facets: recruitment, total employee experience, learning and development
(L&D), performance management, employee and labor relations, and compensation and
benefits (CB). The deputy shall be responsible in assessing the performance of the department.
As such, s/he shall generate monthly assessment reports and recommendations to the HR
Department Head.
Duties and Responsibilies:
- Coordinate with clients for their manpower needs.
- Understand the needs of the clients; strategize, formulate, and execute resolutions.
- Assess the Mandarin skills of job applicants for Mandarin speaking positions.
- Provide final HR approval of all payroll files and liaise with Finance Department for further processing.
- Review all financial records of the department and do reconciliation when necessary.
- Work with the CB Supervisor in conducting periodic review of the company’s compenben programs/structures.
- Review the L&D programs and initiatives of the department.
- Facilitate Chinese language training to the members of the department.
- Liaise with the housekeeping team to make sure all their concerns are addressed.
- Participate in all business development initiatives such as client meetings, organizational planning, networking events, etc.
- Review all reports of the department’s Point of Contacts (POCs).
- Translate all HR documents into Chinese.
- Assist the HR Department Head in the conduct of his duties and perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- College degree is not required but is an advantage if major taken was social sciences or human resources management.
- Has 3 to 5 years of work experience in HR
