The paralegal professional is responsible for helping lawyers and other legal professionals by conducting legal research, reviewing documents, and providing other assistance as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft and proofread copy of legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts.
- File and record minutes of the meeting.
- Research on regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice.
- Manage, organize, and maintain all legal documents, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Attend hearings and other meetings involving legal matters as directed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a top university.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Legal Management, or related courses; a paralegal certificate is preferred
- Has 1-2 years of work experience in a Law firm or Law department
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Strong research skills
