OIC - Housekeeping

Manages and leads assigned site Office Steward/Housekeeping staff. Shall be well versed in etiquette and serving and have a thorough understanding of formal facilities care in order to ensure that standards for housekeeping/stewarding are met.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to client tailor-fitted to their needs and preferences. 
  • Anticipate client and its guest needs by learning their preferences, allergies, dislikes, etc. 
  • Prepare basic to formal table-setting. 
  • Report all maintenance issues and follow up with the Admin for progress. 
  • Inform Admin about any damage, theft, or loss to the office property. 
  • Able to do a Receptionist and Office Steward/Housekeeping Attendant tasks when needed.
  • Manage client requests including VIP amenities, set-up, and communicating them to relevant team members. 
  • Do a monthly inventory and maintain ace check of all housekeeping/stewarding items. 
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the team and ensure that performance standards are met. 
  • Motivate the team to achieve organizational goals. 
  • Supervise and perform routine inspections in the site/office facility. 
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. 
  • Check staff grooming and hygiene. 
  • Prepare and distribute assignment worksheets to designated team members and review priorities. 
  • Conduct training of team members to maximize their potential. 
  • Checks occupied and used conference and meeting rooms, giving special attention to details. 
  • Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving, not leaving any area dirty and not ready for use. 


Qualifications:

  • With at least 5 years of experience in the service sector, prefreably in the hospitality industry. 
  • Must be with experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor/OIC. 
  • Physical mobility and good stamina required. 
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately. 
  • Professional attitude is required. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Detail-oriented and required to spot safety hazards and items that need cleaning. 
  • Can work independently.
